Lotus Thailand Pavilion 2010, Shanghai

This project designed as a pavilion in Shanghai Expo 2010 inspired from lotus flower which has significant role in the culture of the country. Lotus situated in the center both in the life of Thai people and also in this pavilion. Layout and design figure out from this idea and abstract shape of the flower become sculptural mezzanine floor. Another important part of the space is floating market theme. There is a canal in this place so people can experience both space and floating market while circulate in the canal.
